update: new girl, mojave boy, bull snake, and OBT + new rack (DUW)

so i thought i'd give you guys an update of my collection.

my boa isnt with me anymore, i ended up selling her to someone from craigslist, i thought about it long and hard and decided its not the right time for me to have a boa, im trying to focus more on bp's

first, is my new rack, the sides and back are plywood and the shelves are melamine:
the top shelf is 6qt, then 15qt, then 2 41qt's

the new girl, i love how reduced she is, there isnt a single black spot in the alien heads, a couple single scale brown ones but thats it, and she has a super amount of blushing down her back

my mojave boy, i love his busy pattern, and he has nice yellows to (they dont show up that well). next year hes going to new girl

and i love the spot on his head

i only have one new pic of the bull snake, i named him bull, its fitting. he rattles his tail and hisses alot but he hasnt even tried to bite me yet

and now the OBT. he just came today, i got his enclosure all set up, and the girl kinda had him wrapped in a paper towel inside a pill bottle, so i had to unfold the paper, and he freakin darted out and scared the crap out of me, luckily he dove right into his cage, hes FAST, i cant even track him while he moves, its like he teleports from one side to the other lol
    his enclosure

    him sitting under a leaf

and him chilling in a hole in the cork bark

i cant wait for him to get bigger so i can actually see him, and his awesome orangeness

    thanks for looking

Awesome! Would love to get the plans for that rack... I haven't seen one made with plywood before. I'm very comfortable working with it.

I actually did this exact same thing with my Hog Island. Great snake- Not for me right now. Thankfully I was able to trade him back the petstore/breeder I purchased from for my Cinny boy. (+ a sizable amount of cash, but ah well.) ^.^

one sheet of melamine, cut into 5, 36X18's

    one sheet of plywood, cut into 1, 32X36 and 2, 18 1/2X32's

i used two cd's as spacers which left me with about 5 1/2'' potruding from the top, which actually leaves me barely enough room to make one more 6qt shelf, but you would need to buy another sheet of melamine to get the piece

also, the back piece is squeezed in between the two sides, and the plywood i used is wax coated on one side, which i put on the inside of the shelves
