    Need a large shedding.

Hello, I am new here and I'm sorry to say I don't own one of these beautiful animals, but I have much respect for them and those who are lucky enough to have them, but I joined this forum because I am at the end of my rope on who to turn to.

I have been looking all over the internet and elsewhere for information on how to purchase/obtain a large (12"W x 30"L) belly in the middle, python shed. Not interested in hide (cruel).

I have a guitar that I decoupaged a shed onto and it looked awesome! The black guitar showed through the shed and at the same time highlighted the texture of the skin. But after years of playing, areas have worn away and I would like to do this again, but I can't find a shed. One piece with belly up the middle, any Ideas? I'd be willing to pay.
Thanks , Jay McAllister, near Roanoke Va.

There are some big breeders who might be able to help you out. Just give them a call or send them an email.

    Here are a few:

    http://ralphdavisreptiles.com/

Someone on this site may be willing/able to help you out, if I had a shed that big i'd be more than willing to send it to you, sheds don't have much value (to me at least)

I have a 16-17 foot female burm that might be big enough for you. I will have to double check the last time she shed so I can give you a round about time she should shed again. About what size are you thinking you need?

    Re: Need a large shedding.

Thanks for the links Aaron, I'll check into them

@heathers*bps- That would be great. It would have to be large enogh to cover just the front of the guitar body. about (12"W x 30"L). As you can see in the pic, the belly runs up the middle. Wow 16-17 ft. I'm sure a shed from a burmese that large would be enough. And, a burmese has such lovely pattern.

I figured it wouldn't be very hard to mail one in a large envelope. PM me if anyone would be willing to take the time to help me out.

This time , I won't just decoupage it, I'll crystal cast it onto the guitar so that it looks like it is embedded in a clear finish. Like a plaque.

I will be glad to send you one. I wish our super tiger retic was big enough, oh or the rhino viper, because they definitely have a gorgeous pattern! I will keep in touch with you and let you know when she sheds.

You could also contact the breeders Aaron listed above, as I am sure they have snakes that have a better pattern than a normal burm. Nothing wrong with having more than one option

I'm a guitarist myself and am interested in hearing more on what exactually you are doing. This seems like a very cool concept.

I can't help you, but I do want to see some close ups of your guitar. It looks pretty cool from there...
