Smile Update on my two (and a question)

Haven't been posting too much, I've been busy. I figured I'd share the status of my two wonderful babies.

Pandora isn't eating, again... I'm sorta confused, she took the rat last week after letting it sit in there for 8 hours, but she won't take it again this week.

Also, she seems really dry all the time. She sheds out the crinkles in her eyes, but then they come right back. Her warm side is usually around 90 and the cool side gets no lower than 85. Her humidity was around 60-65, but I bumped it up a few days ago to 80 or so. I'm not sure she actually DRINKS, and it worries me. I almost never see her drink, and she slways seems dry. She kinda has dry scales on her... not sure how to explain it, because she sheds perfectly, no missing scales. The water level goes down, but maybe thats because of the condensation on the glass/evaporation?? I'm confused.

Apollo, on the other hand, is doing GREAT! He shed really badly last time, I'm not sure why, but he shed in little shreds of skin. This time, however, it was a perfect one piece shed. I caugh him soaking almost 4 times! It makes me proud, Pandora never soaks herself, I have to help her. My boyfriend couldn't understand why I was so proud of Apollo... lol. He's been eating great as well, and his pattern seems to be getting a lot brighter!!!!!

So that's it for now. Maybe I'll take some pictures sometime this week...

You know what might help her with her nondrinking? Sometimes getting a larger/deeper water bowl works. Goblin was not drinking for awhile, and he actually looked a bit dehydrated; one of his eyes had a tiny dimple in it. I soaked him for half an hour, and that disappeared.
When I replaced him back into his cage, I had switched his water dish to a larger one (actually it is a pan made to use when changing your car's oil!) Immediately he went over to it, began smelling it nonstop and started drinking. I don't know if it was just becuz it was something different in his tank that attracted his attention, but I see him drinking out of it alot when I peek in at night.

Actually, I think that might be the problem. Today I noticed Pandora soaking herself for the first time, and I saw just how small her water dish really is. I'm postin some pics of it in the pics section, so take a look.

humid hides also help out greatly with eye dents. Also, the fresher the water the better. Keep the water as fresh as possible. Maybe you just have a picky bp.

usually them soaking in there water dish is a sign on something being wrong. Try to check temps and things like that which would cause her stress.

No, nothing is wrong, she's just shedding. lol

She hasn't shed in so long, since she hasn't exactly been gaining weight, so it's nice to see blue eyes again.
