    caramel

    hi everyone. I was told that caremal females are steral. any way i think that is what i was told so I would like to be 100% sure. Are female caremals steral? Thanks in advance! Mike.

    Well they're not sterile, but females definitely have fertility issues...Expect them not to lay and if they do you got lucky!

    I bred a Caramel twice...1st clutch was 2 eggs and 4 slugs...2nd clutch all slugs!

    I no longer work with the Caramel gene.

    If you're going to work with caramels, it's best to use a visual caramel male and breed him to a 100% het female. That way you'll get regular clutches and usually a few visual caramels.
