New Spider!
Well,
I've been away from the reptile hobby for over a year.
Some of you might remember me from awhile back, I finally joined here after I got a few new reptiles after my Bearded Dragon died after being basically perfectly healthy.
A few things have happened since then, one of my old roommates sabotaged my regular ball python, snickers, while I was away for work (out of state), but was too scared of kaiden (my colombian red-tail) to mess with him. A few weeks before that my ex took domino (our leopard gecko) with her.
Not but 3-6 months later domino (less than a year old) "disappeared" from it's enclosure according to my ex. So... All I was left with was kaiden. about a year and a half later I had moved to a very amazing condo on Biscayne Bay, which reptiles weren't allowed and kaiden had to stay in my father's office for awhile. In this time the cleaning lady turned off the heat and he basically froze.
So after all the tragedy I stepped away for awhile, I couldn't have another one until I got it all together I guess.
Recently I found a great deal on this spider ball python, he's still pretty young and I got him for $200 including the new 40G breeder enclosure with some of the interior stuff and the heat lamp.
I removed all of the sand and everything he had in the enclosure. Completely cleaned and disinfected the enclosure and accessories (1 part bleach, 10 parts water and baked the accessories) and got some new aspen bedding. Glad to be back and now I have to figure out a name for my new little buddy (I might have one, but I'm not sure about it). I have a heating pad and a new thermometer/hygrometer on the way.
Well, I'm finished with my life story. On to the pictures.

Pardon the water spots, I had just misted the enclosure a bit.
