Hey so I went to clean my tubs today and saw my pastel girl laying like this for the second day in a row. She's been breeding with my male spider.
Some extra background info:
I started pairing them on 10/5/2011.
I've been pairing at least every other week since then.
I have seen multiple locks.
She refused the last two times she has been offered.
Her last shed was on 12/27/2012 I think that might have been her pre-ovulation shed maybe?
She was last weighed on 1/13/2012 she weighed 1726g.
I haven't seen her bowl wrapping or laying on the cool side.
She was last paired on 1/18/2012 I saw courting but couldn't confirm a lock.
She seems extremely lethargic when I open the tub and move her hide she doesn't move at all (which she always pokes her head out to see whats going on normally) She keeps this up until I gentle touch her around the neck area and then she starts spasticly moving her head all over the place but not her body....
I know she's laying inverted and she is on the hot spot which I know are both great signs that she will lay some eggs. My question is where to go from here? Do I keep pairing her? How soon till you guys think she will lay? Should I keep offering her food? Is it ok to move her or pick her up?
