New pickup, need some help on one thing.

So i found an add on kijiji for a male bumble bee, now, im kind of a skeptic when it comes to buying previously owned snakes from owners. I was just wondering, if you guys can give me a Clear understanding on what to look for in a healthy/unhealthy python, and i mean EVERYTHING, i don't want to come home and have a surprise. Again, please don't leave anything out. Thanks everyone!

The snake should have clear, bright eyes.

    No stuck shed.

No sign of mites. These are usually easiest to find on the underside of the bottom jaw, and in the nostrils, eyes, and neck area.

Clean belly. No redness, lumps, bumps, burns, etc.

The owner should be able to tell you when it last ate and what it was. I, personally, keep track of sheds as well, so it's +1 for me if they can also tell me when it last shed.

No popping or clicking noises when the snake breathes. No mucus or "snot" or bubbles coming from the nostrils or mouth area.

If the snake will unball for you, I like to see curious animals that easily move around in my hands, arms, etc. I like to see tongue flicks, too. Sometimes they are such shy little creatures and won't unball. And sometimes you can gently (GENTLY!! GENTLY!!) pry them open.

I will also ask the seller to show me the goods to confirm gender.

He looks like a nice little bee, from the sub-par photo provided. With spiders and spider-morphs, I look for noticeable wobbles and/or corkscrewing. A little wobble I'm not too concerned about, but if the snake can't right itself or keep it's head upright, I'll probably pass.

I'm sure there's more that other's will chime in with, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
