    Wouldn't it be awesome if......

Wouldn't it be super awesome if instead of having doves released at your wedding you could have dozens of BEL's released*? I think they are just as beautiful and elegant AND you could watch them crawl all around your wedding far longer because they wouldn't fly away like stupid doves lol. I would totally have them at mine when I get married

I think Imma start a business. I just need a LOT more BEL's (I have none)

*Hypothetically, saying BEL's just LOVED to be at weddings and wouldn't stress or cause your guests to have heart attacks.

Except where the part where they escape and you can't find them and they die. Plus people could accidentally step on them. And they're really expensive. If you were determined to have a BEL at your wedding (which would be a lot of very unhealthy stress on the snakes) I think you would be better off confining it to staying around your neck or just leave it at home. I would never want to have a wedding where there would be loose snakes just because I love snakes. It's irresponsible and dangerous.

Though you could possibly rent your snake to be in wedding pictures though I think anybody that would want a snake in their wedding pictures would own one of their own that they would want with them.

(I really, really hope you're joking and I'm just overreacting because if you're serious...)

I am very certain they were kidding. haha
That would be awesome. It would be really cool to have an adult BEL with wedding pictures, like wrapped around the groom and bride. So cute

If you could create a line of BEL's that did not stress under such a situation. That actually enjoyed being allowed to roam around a predetermined area, and you could train them to return to their enclosures after a specific time frame. I'd be all for it!!

Of course, training your wedding guests not to freak out would probably be harder than training the snakes.

    I appreciate the dream however. I'm kind of a weird one myself. I always wanted to be married in a hot air balloon, which is absurd because a am a severe acrophobe. {Means I am petrified of heights.}

    Yep, totally kidding

Homing BEL's would be AWESOME. I'm sure we could train them to return to their enclosures. I mean they're snakes, second most obedient and happy to please animal next to dogs and husbands. It'll be easy. Maybe we can cross-breed them with the doves so they have little wings and could actually got around the wedding? *coolest mental picture ever!*

Now I wish I could paint well so I could paint the mental image I have of a winged BEL lol.

I'm glad you're joking. I got to the end of my little rant and thought 'holy cow, I hope he's joking'. I almost deleted my response but I already had it typed out so I said screw it and did it anyways.

If we could train snakes to always return to their enclosures, we at least would never have to worry about escapees never being found.

I would love to have a snake or two at my hypothetical wedding but I get the feeling it wouldn't go over too well with my family.

<She. Lol nah it's cool. I figured there might probably be one or two people who got freaked out by it. It would be awesome, saying it was perfectly fine snake and people-wise to have them just like roaming all over the wedding hall and crawling up people's legs. It's be like the running of the bulls but much less dramatic.

Ahaha saw the 'cole' in 'coleslaw' and assumed male wrongly, sorry about that! I wasn't really freaked out but it was more like 'are you kidding I hope you're kidding there's no way this person can be serious about letting snakes roam free in a room full of people'.

With everybody I know, it would be more like an actual running of the bulls but with people running screaming in fear of the snakes.
