First things first, try not to handle him for about 48 hours after feeding. Now back to the poop! There is really no telling how long after they eat they will poop. Some things that I've noticed about the frequency of poop are:
I've noticed that higher humidity increases frequency, also if you've noticed he hadn't pooed in like a month, bump up humidity and in a few days, POO
My snakes ALWAYS poo after a shed, and if they haven't pooed for a while, it usually means there shedding soon
Again. These are just things I've noted about my snakes. It may not be the same for all. But I would say every 2-3 weeks is average. Problem closer to 2 weeks tho.

Every 3 meals or so... If no luck after that, try soaking in mildly warm water for a half hour. But yeah, it's a waiting game

I wouldn't soak your bp if it hasn't pooped just because if it is going into shed then you will remove its natural oils and make it harder on your bp. I would say that every bp is different and some poop more often then others. Bps also use most of what they consume for growing purposes especially while young and may not poop as much due to the fact that their metablism works fast and uses most of what they eat for growth with little waste. You can feel your bp and know if it is full or not. During shed though if your bp hasn't pooped in like 2 weeks and hits a shed cycle then you may not see any poop for about 10-14 more days on top of that until their shed is complete. Now urates come way more often IMO and as long as they are still passing urates I wouldn't be concerned. So my answer is around every 2 weeks or so but honestly who knows. Depends on the snake.

If you are a new owner then I reccomend you keep a log of all feedings, sheds, poops and weighs so you don't come across the human error factor when forgetting when their last (any of the 4 things mentioned) happened. Gives you good dates and you can learn your bps cycles better.

Really? What is it based on?

There is NO set schedule and I would not recommend against soaking your animal unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary. There is not need to put an BP though unnecessary stress because the animal does not defecate after 3 meals.

Defecation varies from one animal to another there are various factors that come into play as well such as: age of the animal, feeding size and frequency etc

Younger individuals utilize most of the prey for their growth therefore there might not be much waste etc

Ultimately he will go when ready.

Now if the animal was impacted this would be different and soaking would be recommended, but unless your snake as a bulge near the vent area that does not seem to go away I would not worry about it.
