    mites flys or WTF

so I had my little albino regurge on me a couple weeks ago. I found it a day later covered in flys the size of fruit flys. Since then Ive had em hanging around my cages here and there. Well I opened up one of my tubs that had a ft left from the night before and there was a bunch of em in there. They dont seem to care about the snakes at all and do fly (dont know if mites fly). Should I go ahead and hit the cages with Provent a mite to be safe. Ive never had mites before so....

No need for spraying; you need a thorough cage cleaning. Call them gnats or flies, they have a life cycle that includes a hard pupa that you might see attached to the sides or top of the cage. Check all your cages.
