those this pink belly look wrong?
i never had a shed problem since i bought my BP over 8 months ago, and to be honest the shedding process with him like most bps is quick, one day he looks dull and next thing u know i wake up and see a full piece of shed on the side of the tank.
Anyway, i never really get a chance to check him out right before he sheds, and i know BP's bellies get pink before they shed, but is this TOO pink? He has been using his hot side hide alot more than usuall, but i have it on a ultratherm with a herpstat, and the hottest spot on there is 92 degrees (under the bedding) so says my pe-2 temp gun, so i dont think its burn, but just incase, i wanted a second opinion, here are the pics...

Is there any brown or really dry/flaky spots? If not, it is probably just a shed coming soon. My boy pinked up almost a full week before his eyes clouded.

Re: those this pink belly look wrong?
From the images it just looks like a coming shed to me. My boy pinks up very noticeably a couple days before a shed. I don't think it looks like anything to worry about.

no dry flaky spots, although towards the end of the tail it might MAYBE be a little brownish, but honestly i think thats your my imagination, but all in all smooth surface with some shine to it, just real real pink....
im 98% sure everything is fine i mean, he cant get burnt at 92 degrees under the bedding on the hot side hide (where uth is) right? i mean, dosent burning start at like 96,98 and up?
i just want to be sure..... i guess ill have to wait until he sheds and his belly is fully white again to be certain...

Re: those this pink belly look wrong?
The first image makes it look really pink. However, the next two look completely normal. I usually notice mine getting pink a few days to a week before they go blue. I think you are fine. Keep an eye out and keep us posted.

My big girl did the same thing to me her belly got so pink I was checking all my temps at the glass with a heat gun and about to call the vet. Next day or day after she was blue so looks pretty normal for going into shed to me

My male Pastel was the first BP who shedded after I got him.
I read all the shed info and still wondered what "pink" actually meant.
Well, he fixed that for me.
[and nearly scared me to death...I thought sure he'd been burned or something]
He always turns a bright, nearly neon rosy pink.
The other BPs "pink" too but with nowhere near the flamboyance that he does.
[he's such a show-boater]
My Yellowbelly's about to shed because she went from blue to clear, recently but I have no idea what her "pink" looked like because she truly does have a very yellow belly.
Maybe she discretely turned "peachy" and I missed it?

+1 to pre-shed. I notice mine sometimes get much more pink than usual, and sometimes it's hardly noticeable.
