    Breeding rack & Electricity Bill

well i would like to start breeding ball pythons but i have a problem...

ever since i had my reptiles and ps3 the electricity bill has gone up by atleast $50.

i would like to start breeding ball pythons but i dont want a huge spike in the electricity bill... i will have about 5 adults and up to 12 hatchlings......

my mom doesnt even like snakes but i convinced her to let me get some non biting cool colored ball pythons. she said yes but shes doesnt know that breeding them may cause a huge spike in electricity bill. i would like to help her out by paying for my portion of the electricity bill when i start breeding but the problem is that money only comes in once a year and its not a guarantee that i will even make any money, plus im not breeding for the money...

do you guys know how about how much more my mom will be paying for electricity? say with 1-5 drawer rack and 1-12 drawer rack, and an incubator running at the same time.. i hope the bill wont cause over a $100 spike...

    help me?

What kind of setup are you running now, I mean heat tape is like nothing at full power and then we use thermostat that even reduces the load farther.... you shouldn't be seeing a jump like that with a small collection.

to get that increase in my bill I had to a/c and heat my rat shed
    I have a 41q 7 tub, 2 28q 7 tubs each, 1 6q 24 tub, incubator, 6 enclosures, 8 frog tanks, and 1 beaded dragon tank.

I have a snake room that I heat to 85....with about 100 snakes in it....even in the winter, and other heat running, and my electricity bill might be $50 for that room a month.....maybe. I think something else is going on.

If you are worried about what you mom might say, maybe its better that you wait. Ball Pythons will be around when you get out of your moms house.
