Went to the St. Louis Reptile Show today with the hubby. We went to the one in August, and this was was definitely smaller. But that's to be expected with the time of the year it is. Had a good time! Here's a few of the snakes I saw and couldn't afford to bring home (note: the pictures look a little yellow because of the lights that were shining on the tables):
And here's what I brought home. A gorgeous little enchi male. I couldn't quite capture his colors with my point-n-shoot, but once he settles in and has a few meals, I'll break out the light tent and show off his true colors! He weighs 102g.
And the hubby bought himself a blood. It managed to bite him within about 2 minutes of him holding it and I'm pretty sure the guy working the booth thought he was going to lose the sale because of it, but once we got him home he was a little more subdued. He's tipping the scales at 641g.
And just for good measure, here's a couple of my normal female who's building quite nicely and GLOWING like nobody's business! Last week her follicles were at about 1/2 dollar size.
