I usually treat all of my enclosures in the quarantine room once a month with PAM to ensure that those little buggers don't sneak into my collection. Recently I was speaking with a few people and they said that a good way to kill any mites in a quarantine room is to stick a Hot Shot strip in the room and it'll take care of everything PAM might miss. I gotta admit that even with treating with PAM I've had one snake come to me with mites that were seemingly unaffected by PAM so this sounds like a decent alternative. Now my question is the safety of the animals in the room with the strip. If anyone has any experience with these strips I would like to hear about it.

Thanks
