Feeding a shedding bp
My bp is shedding.. hes been in his humid hide since overnight. I was just wondering if I should offer him a meal or wait for him to finish his shed

You could offer but don't be surprised if he doesnt take it. Some will eat in shed some will not.

You can try ofcourse... if he doesn't want it, you can always release the mouse.. it's not that a mouse costs 10 $...
Thats my opinion

Just fed him.. I took his humid hide out with him inside and placed it in the mouse tank with a small hopper.. He climbed out of my makeshift pringles can humid hide and struck and missed. He ended up with a mouth full of aspen shavings. He couldnt seem to remove them but he struck again and instantly released the food. I was worried he might have poked the inside of his mouth on some aspen so I had to than make a lil bath for him and splash some water on his face to get the rest off.. Placed him in the tank and in about one min he stalked the food and ate. Im thinking I should try new substrate however I dont like the reptibark. It seems to stain his belly.. Any ideas

I recently started using coco fiber stuff (like the bed-a-beast, coir that comes in compressed bricks). It holds humidity well, and I get it -very- cheap at my local hydroponics store as opposed to the pet store prices on tiny blocks. One downside is that whenever my big pastel girl knocks over her water bowl there's an overly wet part of her tub, but it's been an easy fix by getting a different water bowl, haha
Edit: I have no idea why it did the thumbs down thing for my reply
Edit 2: Nevermind, figured it out!
