Cage Help Please?
Hey guys Im looking to get a new cage for my bp. I really want to get one of the ones that opens from the front because I just like that design better than the top opening one like I have now. My only problem is that the space that I have now to put the cage only allows the cage to be about 16-18 inches deep(wide). Right now I have her in a 30gallon long tank so its like 36Lx12w. The tank is like 18 inches tall right now which means theres alot of extra height thats wasted obviously because she's a bp lol. I have thought about making my own, but Im not that ambitious and at the moment Id rather just buy one. I have looked on the boaphile and animal plastics websites but I can only find cages that are 24inches deep at the very least. Unforntunately that is just too big for the space I have. So my question is does anyone know any other companies that make front opening cages but a little bit less wide? Thanks for reading

I would try emailing animal plastics and see if they might make a narrower enclosure. I would ask about a T8. They claim that they will customize enclosures to your needs. Who knows they might say yes.

I have never heard of the vision cages coming smaller than 24in. Not saying that they don't, but I have yet to see it.

Mine is the 24x22x14 and I like it a lot. If you really want one, maybe look into finding a different place to put it? I know that doesn't always work, and I obviously have no idea what your room layout is. But they are great, durable enclosures. I think they are especially great for ball pythons because they are dark and secure, so you can have a smaller snake in a bigger space without it getting stressed out. I have found I need a BIG water dish to maintain humidity, but that is the only "downside" I have found.
