Some males go off feed during breeding season. Just monitor his weight.

As already pointed out, its not uncommon for males to stop eating when they get into breeding mode. Just make sure he doesnt lose too much wieght and give him plenty of breaks. I had a couple males go off feed last year for almost 4 months without losing a significant amount of wieght. If you are cooling him try raising his temps up and feeding live, this kept mine eating this year and they are still breeding fine. Good Luck

Just because you're done pairing him, doesn't mean he thinks he's done.

A few people have mentioned monitoring his weight, which is vital when breeding. Are you, or are you just judging based on how he looks? If you aren't, please get a scale and start monitoring - they can lose a lot of weight before they look truly sickly and you don't want it to get to that point before you realize it.

I have some balls that go off feed for months, it sucks when I'm trying to get them to breeding size then they just stop eating.
