    Should I feed or wait?

Hey, I left on a trip for new jersey last Wednesday on the 14th. I fed her that day and she ate and I left. I had to get some one else to fed her/ take care of her while I was away on the 21st and I took over an hour to explain what why and how to feed/clean/upkeep. Well when he went to feed, she didn't take it for whatever reason. Now I'm wondering if I should feed her today on Friday or just wait till next Wednesday? Please respond soon. Pic related, it's her.

Re: Should I feed or wait?

Was she in shed a couple days ago when your friend tried to feed her? That could have caused her to refuse. Also, check your husbandry to make sure temps/humidity aren't the culprit.

As to trying to feed again today, you could. But rather than stress her out I'd suggest waiting at least a couple more days before offering again. If you want Wednesday to remain your feeding day, go ahead and wait until Wednesday. Missing a meal is not that big a deal. And it's especially common at his time of year for them to be finicky about eating.

She might have been. She didn't shed in one piece so I misted her cage every day and she has a big dog water bowl in there with her. Got any Suggestions on a good humidity gauge? I'm just gonna wait till Wed.

I would just wait till the next feeding day, you don't want to over offer food too often as this can stress ball pythons out plus I'm sure you wouldn't want to waste a rat. Just reinforcing what WarriorPrincess said.

As for a good humidity gauge, Accurite thermometer/humidity gauges work very well and I personally use them for my collection.

skipping a meal or two does'n hurt but if he/she shed since refusing i'd definitely offer
