mice and rats

Curious what is better for bps mice or rats. Also why is one better than the other? Ive heard that rats are better but not sure why

Rats are better, not only because the nutrients are higher, but because when the snake gets bigger you can feed once prey item instead of multiples, like you have to do with mice.
