It is really dangerous to move ball pythons while they're locked?

Two of my snakes have mild RI's. I have been nebulizing them the way BHB recommended in their video 'My Snake is Down With The Sickness'. That is, I put them in a tub and nebulize them using dilute disinfectant and a repti-fogger.

I put them in together with a perforated plastic divider to separate them. When I went to get them out, I found the male had forced his way under the divider and locked with the female.

There is no heat in the treatment tub and they are both covered in condensation. I cannot leave them there for very long.

How can I move them, or should I just leave them there?

^^I have seen that first hand.

I've seen a male Ball get separated in the middle of breeding and his hemipene couldn't retract back inside his tail. The hemipene seemed to dry up and stay everted. I'm not really sure what happened to this snake as this was like a year ago or so .

Ash I would let him finish his business. You don't want to risk an injury to the penes.

Try and get some kind of heat on them and just wait until they are done. Good luck.

Alright, thanks guys. I pulled some of the heat rope out of a rack and put it under the tub. They should be alright for a while.
