    Pet store story.

Well today after work I stopped by a chain pet store (I was on the road working about an hour and a half away from home, so it was a new pet store to me so I haddddd to stop )

The store was really clean, way cleaner then alot of other stores ive seen. I was looking at all the reptiles, they had 3 balls all in one enclosure, with no hides, but they did have 60% humidity and 80ish degrees (according to the dial gauge)

Anyways, the manager came over and asked if i needed help, and I said id like to look at the RTB, he said ok give me a minute, he came back and said I had to make sure it was ok to hold, he said the balls werent eating and getting fiesty and he had to confirm which species was acting up.

When he told me that, my attention got re-directed and I told him evvvvvverything that was wrong with what they were doing and what would cause it. He said they feed luke warm F/T out of enclosure (im thinking all 3 together at once), no hides, in the back room.

after that I spent a half hour explaining to him what he should do (in enclosure feeding, warm food, give hides ect) and he was actually very nice and listened to me and seemed legitametly concerned for the snakes and seemed to seriously take into consideration what I was saying. Hopefully he will use what I told him, im going to stop by next week or two and check up. I should have just directed him to BP.Net

So hopefully he listens, im just glad to see that even though he wasnt the best educated, he didnt mind listening to me and hearing other options on what he could do differently, to help the animals. im still not promoting chain store animal purchases BUT I was happy to know I wasnt blown off and disregaurded. Sorry Its kind of long and not all that exciting, but I was proud to know I used the knowledge I got from here and apply it to help some ill cared for animals
