    Question about Palpating.

So pretty new at palpating so I gave it a try today. Most of my females have linked 5+ times that Ive seen. They have been curled around their water bowls for awhile now and most are currently in shed or have just shed. Most ate at the last feeding but a few refused and I did feed smaller than usual.

A couple of my girls I can almost tell that they have folicles as I can feel 3-5 large lumps. Maybe the size of those peanut butter ball candies you get on halloween. Only thing is I feel them in the lower 1/3 of their body. Is this normal? Where on the snake do you usually feel them?

Also on a few I thought I felt little bumps but then the snake would make a gurgling sound and a little bit above the vent I would feel a nice sized lump. Figured this was "waste".

So a bit confused on palpating so any ideas tips ect. would be greatly appreciated. I also took a couple of pictures of a banded girl. She seems a little swollen and is currently in shed but I cant tell if this is ovulation. How big do they normally get? Do some females not get big enough for you to really notice? Again sorry for so many questions, just trying to learn.

I know the pictures arent the greatest but I just snapped them real quick while I was spot cleaning.
