I made my DIY rack for less than $100. I got the multipurpose rack from Walmart, the tubs from Walmart, Flexwatt from a local reptile shop, Johnsons thermostat from reptilesbasics.com (not included in the price...thermostat alone is $80), wooden boards for each shelf at Home Depot, and then some binder clips.
There is now a 4th tub on top too, and Walmart sells the shelves separately so you can add more if you wanted to

LGray has pretty much the same setup as me. It's cheap, easy, and it works. I'll be getting better premade racks when I move out though. Mine doens't cut it all the time.

They will be fine for a male, you can upgrade to a slightly larger size for a female if you wanted to. Luckily, balls light tight spaces lol.
Edit: They are 34 qt tubs if you're wondering
I also pray painted black the back and sides and lids...for security...just make sure you air dry them for like 3 days before putting anything in them...

Re: tub tutorial.
Look under the stickies in BP Husbandry. Vyprz has step by step instructions on how to set up a tub.
