So, Are You On The Tebow Bandwagon?

Ever since he was at Florida I've had respect for him as a person. And I hate the Gators. I also don't care for the Broncos. But I always wondered why he wasn't starting somewhere. He's always been a winner. So I haven't been surprised at all by his recent success. And I honestly don't understand why some many people are against him.

I still find him to be a stand up human being and I think he's inspirational for his whole team. It seems like the whole team just got better as a whole the moment he took over. The O-line, running game and the D are all leaps and bounds better. I don't care about his QB stats. He entertains me greatly and makes me want to watch games he's involved in.

People don't like him because he won in college, and people dont like winning teams. But I do agree that he is a stand out guy and I have grown to like him over the year. He is one of the best role models in sports, and I wish more players would be like him. Also, people dont like him because its not "traditional" football. He's not a 40 attempts guy, but he finds ways to beat you despite that. I'm loving it. I think his team has respect for what type of guy he is as a leader, and in turn have been inspired to play harder. The WHOLE team is doing so much better now he is the pilot of the offense. I'm rooting for Tebow to keep doing great and winning.

On the religion side. I think a lot of people dont like him becaues he is so outspoken of his love for Christ, and people just dont like that. They are waiting for him to mess up like so many other people and he hasn't done that. I hope he continues to stay strong in his faith and that more Christians would be as passionate as he is. But, if you don't believe in same beliefs, it might be annoying.

I think he is a good guy as a person but I can not stand him as a football QB. I do not understand how the broncos can win with him. A NFL defense should be ashamed to let a running only (not athletic QB like Vick, vince young, ...) QB beat them. I actually hope they win the west bc it looks like my Steelers are going to be a wild card team and I would LOVE to see them go to mile high stadium and beat them Broncos by 28 points, easy first round win.

Of course I think I am a little bitter to the SEC country as well seeing as how Bama is clearly not the second best team in football, hard to claim you have a great team when you have beat THREE teams with a winning record all year. Rant off

I think people see him as what they should be like, ideally, and instead of looking inwards and trying to guide themselves in a better direction they are going to hate on the guy and call it all fake. I doubt there would be a band wagon if it were not for his being Christian(note: I didn't say religious) and having the demeanor of a well rounded nice guy. People think he's too good so it must be fake and bad. Which doesn't say anything good about the people.

Not to get off topic, but I couldn't agree more. I'm an OU fan and I was glad when OSU won because I thought that would put them ahead of Bama, but obviously not. I couldn't be more disappointed in the rematch.

Watching professional sports is the most mind-numbing waste of time I can possibly think of...So is praying.
