Breeding rats (zoning issues) San Diego, CA
I will be moving to San Diego in around a year. I have plans to breed all of my own rodent feeders with a friend at his house, specifically in Chula Vista, CA. I have googled a few different times if it's legal to do so with zero results. Does anyone have a link or able to provide information stating that I can or cannot do so?
I just don't want to get all excited to produce all my own feeders to save on costs and then potentially get in trouble.

In Phoenix Arizona the law stated we were allowed a combine total of 25 fowl/rodents (odd).
I had several hundred. I never got in trouble, no one knew. I had an outbuilding in my yard that held my rodents and rabbits, and when it was cool outside, it only held my rodents.
If you breed rodents in your house, or even in an outbuilding on your property, how would anyone know?

I'm not saying to break the law ;-) But, what's the biggest concern you have? Someone walking in and busting you?

I wouldn't think much of it. California has bigger issues than busting someone breeding feeder rats. While I'm not familiar with SD city limits and live in NorCal, nobody I know breeding hundreds of rats has ever had an issue.
