    shedding problem

So my hatchling had its first shed in my care it was pretty bad left bits and chunks I had to put him in warm water 2 days straight to get most of it off. But he still has some shed under his jaw and down the neck about half an inch, also she seems to have small peices of shed in small groups of individual scals help. And thanks.ps he also seems kinda hyper very active for the past few hours always on the go never seen him so active is that normal or does that mean he want an early feeding?

Personally I'd leave things be for now a few little bits isn't a problem the only time it can be is a complete circle around the tail tip shed shrinks and they can loose the tip. If it is just patches and not a continuous band I not be concerned and let the snake calm down the activity could be a sign of stress so I'd give her a few days to relax and then try to feed her.

So the shed under the jaw and down the neck isn't a problem?

Listen to Kite and wait a few days. Your snake knows what it is doin. Always try and let the snake do it on its own before getting involved with some stressful process.

If it is just a bit here and there I'd just leave it be it sounds like your snake could be stressed and increasing stress levels is just as bad or worse as a little bit of old shed. Give the snake some time check the humidity and let it be for a while so it can chill.
