A few handfuls of Cypress Mulch?

    Hi,

I currently keep my BP's on non-print newspaper. I mist the sides of the tub once per night and the humidity stays around 50 - 60% until the next time I mist the tub. Would it be beneficial to toss in a couple handfuls of moistened cypress mulch to keep the humidity up a little more?

The misting seems to be working for the most part, but I would like the humidity to stay around 50 - 60% if I go away for a weekend or travel for work.

So would 2 or 3 handfuls in each tub help keep the humidity up longer?
