I'm not surprised. I have three bettas in my room, and while two of them will only flare when the snake is on the desk, the one my dresser apparently has super vision and will flare at her from all the way across the room. They are hilarious little things. Fortunately, neither of our snakes seem terribly intimidated

Ahahaha I used to use baby ball pythons at the petstore i worked at to make betta males trip out. I thinks its a preditorial response, they might think its a water snake n trying to show its got spines. But nice pics i hope she gets the hint n you find more then one under there.

(PS there is alot of betta "moprhs" n pattern n styles out in the world seen ones for $55)

Haha, the betta you cant see will flare if you even walk into the kitchen, hes aggressive as can be its funny. the other one is more curious then aggressive i believe.
