    Young Males Breeders

I had a young pied male last season he was big enough to breed but didnt have no interest. He the same this season any tips to get him going. Hes now around the 1000g mark.

Last season i dont think he father the clutch as i gave up and put my spider in with the female aswell and hatched spiders in the clutch.

I also have another young male this season hes been in with 2 females i havent witnessed no locks luckily hes a co dom so will be easy to see if he father or not if i add another male.

Or is it possible he could be locking but i am not seeing them as they are not locked for long.

    Re: Young Males Breeders

You can put the shedding of another male into the enclosure of female that you want him to breed.
    That will usually work.

If he still is not interested, pop another male, and wipe the sperm plugs onto the lower area of the spine of the female.

I don't combat males, but it works for some.
