    Some HY mothers........

First is Daisy. She is from our 2006 SCZ clutch and just had her pre-lay shed. She is a sibling to Summer pictured in "The More Complete Chondro". This is one of the most potent lines of HY chondros you will find.

Next is Sunflower. She is from our 2004 SCZ clutch. This will be her third clutch for us and it looks like a nice ovulation.
Breeding with Big Daddy....who will be 17 years old in a few months. I think I might just change his name to Hugh or Hef.

The ovulation witnessed exactly one month after the first introduction of the pair. I'm pretty sure they only locked up 2-3 times, but he's a potent one.

Hope everyone is having a great season.

Great looking snakes. I love high yellows. Are there any sites dedicated to GTP genetics? Or is it mostly just selective breeding?

Thanks! I love HY chondros as well. GTP genetics are not as cut and dry like most snakes. The only know TRUE morph is the albino. There are a handful of them and they are owned by two or three people. High Yellow, Blue, and "Melanistic" animals are produced from certain bloodlines but are unpredictable when it comes to knowing how many or which animals will carry the genetics. The best way to get the look you want is to buy from proven lines and sometimes that can be a bit pricey....in comparison to the typical chondro.

Thank you all! I've been working with this bloodline since 1999. They are some of the best chondros you will find. I still get feedback on how calm and gentle they are as yearlings and adults. I trust Big Daddy (Hef) with small children. He is an awesome snake!

    Thanks again
