    curious ball python

    i picked up a little baby female ball python about two weeks ago and was wondering if it is normal for her to be curious and wonder around when im holding her

    Well it could either be curiosity or her being stressed and trying to run away. Just make sure you don't hold her too much at first. And take a look at our caresheet if you haven't done so yet.

    I have some that are very curious but they are a little older.

    Um, some don't do much. Others, like mine, explore constantly (slowly of course) when held. If the snake is moving and flicking the tongue then I think its Fine. Shouldn't worry about.

    what shes doing is shes flicking her tongue out like every minute or so sometimes less and she is just wondering around in like a calm manner and mim only holding her for like 10 a day
