How long will rat block last?

If you have a bag of rat block, stored in a cool, dry, area, how long will the bag last if you let it sit there?

(talking about native earth rodent block, in case that matters)

I buy a large bag and then divide it into gallon size baggies and put it in the chest freezer - it keeps for a very long time this way.

Prior to doing this I had some go bad with the summer heat and humidity.

    Freezer works great though.

There's an expiration date on the bag.

    Ah, okay!!

I'd put it in the freezer, but I'm talking about quantities much too large for that.

I'll check the bags when I get them. They should be here tomorrow :-D

Question #7 will answer your question. 6 months from manufacturing date or 9 months if blocks are vacuum sealed.
