    Just wanted to share. :)

I'm getting really serious about my future business and have been meticulously planning every detail. I have come up with a semi firm begnning stock list and first year pairings that I wanted to share and get commented on. So here it is.

    Stock:
    0.1 bee
    0.1 lemonblast
    0.1 pied
    0.1 high contrast albino
    1.1 black pastel
    1.1 vpi axanthic
    0.1 spotnose spider
1.1 mojave 100% het for orange ghost
    0.1 orange ghost
    0.1 yellowbelly lesser
    0.5 normals
    1.0 phantom
    1.0 desert
    1.0 pastel spotnose
    1.0 pastel lesser
    1.0 enchi

    Pairings will be.

    #1) bee x phantom + desert
    #2) lemonblast x desert + enchi
    #3) pied x axanthic + phantom
    #4) hc albino x axanthic + desert + phantom
#5) black pastel x black pastel + enchi
    #6) axanthic x phantom + axanthic
#7) spotnose spider x pastel spotnose + enchi
#8) mojave het x phantom + mojave het
#9) og x mojave het + enchi + black pastel
#10) lesser yellowbelly x pastel lesser + enchi + black pastel
    #11) normal x phantom
    #12) normal x desert
    #13) normal x pastel spotnose
    #14) normal x pastel lesser
    #15) normal x enchi

Hope you like the stocking and pairing.

    Have a good day.

If your going to do several males to 1 female be careful about using a resesive male. If you just do the 1 male you know that clutch is his. But with several males how do you know who the daddy is and how can you guarantee the genetics?

I agree - I would not do any who's your daddy pairings using recessives.

I also think 5 normals is overkill. I would start with one for good measure, you'll have hold backs you won't sell most likely.

Yes I did think of that after posting this. As I said its up for criticing. I will probably only go with three normals. I want my main bread winners to produce more (desert, phantom, and enchi). Much cheaper than buying females of each.

Do you know how much that list will cost?

It looks like it may be in the $10,000 dollar range.

Anyway good luck with your business and breeding plans.

Yes I was planning around that. The males won't be purchased until the girls are atleast two. That cuts down on cost initially and allows more saving time.

So I did some rough calculations and it's well over 10k for everyone. Here is the run down of what I am seeing price wise for everything.

    0.1 bee ($550+)
    0.1 lemonblast ($550-700)
    0.1 pied ($850+)
    0.1 high contrast albino ($400+)
    1.1 black pastel (Male: $250+ Female: $300+)
    1.1 vpi axanthic (Male: $350+ Female: $500)
    0.1 spotnose spider (est @ $600)
1.1 mojave orange ghost (Male: $600 Female: $700)
    0.1 orange ghost ($350+)
    0.1 yellowbelly lesser (est @ $750)
    0.5 normals ($50 each)
    1.0 phantom ($1,650+)
    1.0 desert ($2,500+)
    1.0 pastel spotnose (est @ $500)
    1.0 pastel lesser ($550+)
    1.0 enchi ($350+)

some are estimated since I couldn't find any for sale.

    Grand total:
    $12,600....ishhh.

But as I said the females will be bought first. The males will come later and I should have plenty more money by then.

By the time you start buying, those prices will decrease a bit. By the time you start buying males, they will decrease on some of them a good bit.
