    post ovulation question

I am not sure if I missed ovulation on my big girl so I am trying to find some signs on if she already ovulated as she is now going into shed. My question is, is the female usually firm the whole time after ovy or only a little while before laying? I think this will be the best way for me to judge it. Also any other tips for determining whether it has happened or not are welcome. All three of my girls are getting pretty big so I am hoping for 3 awesome clutches this year! Thanks for the help.

Have you seen a glow yet, females will glow before they ovulate, a glowing female is kind of hard to miss.

I believe they are only firm during ovulation and not so much after but maybe when they are close to laying. Not sure but thats what I think. how long have you been pairing them? Ive been pairing for months now and all I have is a lot of building going on.

I started pairing in early October. All of the girls are looking a lot more "beefed up" than when I started pairing.

I started pairing in mid sept. and mine are still building and starting to lighten up a bit. I think we have a little ways to go yet.
