Another humidity issue, but I can't keep it DOWN!*condensation*

As the title says, yes, I have brought another thread into the world of humidity issues.

Last night after messing with her hat pad until the temps were for the most part appropriate(all of a sudden I'm having a bloody difficult time keeping the UTH temps right/heat getting through to the bin, ect,) temperatures, I also put in some eco earth again instead of paper towels because Kallista does prefer eco earth.(she hates paper towels it seems because she was always flipping out when I had on PT and then I put the eco earth back in and she went in her hide(haldf a kleenax box for now) and yeah.
So I assumed she was happy when I woke up. Upon further investigation. Condensation all over the sides of the tub. Well, for now there was nothing I could do about it since I had school. So once I got back, I soldered a bunch of holes into the top.
Still not much luck... still there's condensation, mainly on the warm side of the tub. She's in a 28qt.
I've been having trouble getting her to relax, and I have enough bloody holes in the tub, I might be better off soldering off a section and adding screen to it.

Honestly, I rather be dealing with it being not humid enough compared to too humid. At least with low humidity(though it's not good) you don't have to spend every minute hoping your snake doesn't get a URI.


So IDK what to do anymore.... I seem to be losing control of the near perfect husbandry I had since August. It's all falling apart now and I feel like a bad owner, though I'm doing all I can to keep her comfy and healthy.

Smaller water source or just less water????

Her water dish is already at less than half way full.... So she wouldn't be able to soak if I emptied it anymore... not that she needs to soak in this humidity...

Is her water dish close to the heating pad at all? If so, move it to the other end.
Dry out the eco earth and do not mist. Ie:Leaving it in the sun to dry.
Also, why not try coconut husk? Still holds humility well and it is also easy to clean.

Does she soak? Atlas never did even when he had the whole dog bowl thing. Now he has just a little thing for drinking, and I stick him in the sink around shed time. Humidity is much more stable that way.

Sun doesn't exsist in Washington this time of year.

And I'll move her dish farther away(think it's in the middle....)

You have a bearded dragon. You can use that heating lamp to dry out the eco earth. Just saying :]

I had some problems with condensation on the inside of tubs in my rack. It holds the moisture very well. I switched to water bowls that were taller but narrower, with less surface area. Worked like a charm--no more condensation and my snakes still shed well.

You have a bearded dragon. You can use that heating lamp to dry out the eco earth. Just saying :]

XD Why do I always forget I can use his heat lamp for stuff like that? I mena, I use it for rat heating, IDK why I never thought of using it to dry out eco earth...

Taller, narrower ones? *trying to picture, but brain ish fried*
