    How To Clean Racks

Aside from cleaning tubs with a bleach/water solution (this is my first time cleaning my pvc rack since Im getting some new snakes soon) and I was wondering if anything else other than tubs, hides and water dishes needs to be cleaned?

I have a can of PAM but I am unsure where/if I should use it. Do you guys clean the inside of the actual racks? And if so, what is the best way to do this?
    Matt

Yes everything needs to be washed and many choose to sanitize as well. The rack needs to have the upper surface of each level (where the snake contacts it) also washed and sanitized too I find laying on my back and working behind my head the best I use a scrubby/sponge and then spray sanitizer and then wipe dry after the appropriate time for most chemical sanitizers (usually 20-30 min)

I would not randomly spray a carcinogenic chemical around my home with out good reason. never forget that is a slightly different form the active ingredient was developed to kill snakes on Guam. It needs to be treated with the care it deserves and not casually sprayed about indiscriminately.

I clean the inside of the shelves with some alcohol wipes. Whenever I get a new snake I prepare its tub the day before with newspaper as bedding and spray pam on it. I do this outside and I let it air out for about an hour before I put the tub back in the rack.
