So my father got out of the hospital Wednesday before T-day. More because he raised holy hades about it. He wasn't gonna mis Thanksgiving for nothing if he could help it. This ticked Mom of becasue she wanted him to stay until the docs gave him a full clean bill of health. But Dad is stubborn and hates hospitals...
Anyways, everyone is doing ok given all that's happened. Ended up having a decent Thanksgiving. I must say though that all this has brought the whole family closer. I've seen relatives I haven't seen in years in the last month or so.
In snake news, it appears Alex has mated 3 times in 3 weeks and is on his winter fast. So I am not even going to offer food to him till probably April. It's been the same pattern for years now so I am not going to waste the money on rats I know he won't eat. All 3 of my girls are hugging their water bowls. Many people are telling me it's a great time to breed since they are doing that. So hopefully I'll have som eggs this coming year.
I beat Halo Anniversary on Legendary last night. It was every bit as hard as it used to be. Took 5 hours of total gameplay to be the last level "The Maw." For those that are familiar, it took me an hour alone just to finish the Warthog part at the end. Such a frustrating level. But the gratification upon beating it was every bit as good as it was 10 years ago.
I am all caught up on Eureka except the new season. I hope Scifi runs a holiday marathon so I can catch up on that too. That show is like a drug. Just can't get enough.
