    Ghost Coloring

I was looking on bhb and really like the Ghosts. They have a LOT of bright yellow on them, but will this fade as the snake gets older?

Most of them aren't very yellow as far as i know. My orange ghost is a faded orange color (with the black and brown being faded too)

    Here's mine

The faded look is why they are called ghosts

I agree, BHB's ghosts are really nice. Very saturated colors for a ghost as far as I know, they will fade a bit with age like most ball pythons of any morph, but their color change isn't as drastic as say, that of a browning pastel.

They will fade a bit, but generally ghosts are a morph that fade lighter.

    Re: Ghost Coloring

Ghosts are cool in there own right but look at ghost combos if you want a little more color. Just be aware that there a different ghost lines and its my understanding that some aren't compatible with others. I suggest getting a visual ghost combo that way you have the chance of producing visual morphs 100% het for ghost. There's a ton of combos out there and they look great... Honeybee, HypoMojave, HypoPin, POG, etc.

They tend to fade as they get older

Mix it with pastel and they look better with each shed, here our adult male pastel hypo

Hypo never look like much to me alone, but combo with them are stunning imo.

In all the time we have had our ghost he has more than doubled in size and is close to 900grams. His color and fading just keeps getting nicer. That's one of the good things about this morph. I like lessers for the same reason.
