only the bottom of my bp is shedding

i wouldn't call it shedding exactly either. its shiny and flaking off, very dry. The humidity has been between 40/70% (its a huge tank) its aspen bedding, and 1/5th of it is secioned off with plexiglass and filled with rocks and water. , should i empty the water and take out the rocks or is that not affecting him?

    Pictures would help

If it's a large tank I'd guess the humidity is closer to 40% humidity, which isn't enough for a good shed.

With what are you measuring your humidity and temperatures?

If its individual scales then your snake will probably shed in a few days. My girl does that some times from time to time and its only on the bottom cause of the fact that the scales are rubbed off or loose when the snake moves.
