    do they have a chance?

my friend breeds his snakes later than most people and he had a clutch that was at day 34 or 35 i think he said but he went on vacation for 4 days and came back and the power was off so the incubator was off....he doesnt know how long its been off but the eggs havent started rotting yet or anything they are still white and plump haha do you think that they may survive if the power was out for a day or more? the temperature was down to 83 when he got home he left with it at 89....

They'll prolly be ok. Only way to tell is let them incubate and monitor them closely. He should be prepared for any defects just so he isn't disappointed.

I haven't had to deal with this situation personally (knock on wood) so I can't say what to expect.Hopefully the power was not out too long. I would leave them in there and just check on them periodically to see if they go bad. Keep us informed of the outcome. Good luck.

There's a chance they could make it. 83 isn't a horrible temp, but like it was mentioned make sure he is prepared for any defects/deformities that might come up. Deformities can happen just from not having a fan in an incubator to keep the temp even.
