Thumbs up personal experiences with a few breeders?

Firat of all, please don't ring me.. or even start a fight over this thread, I've seen it happen to many times to count.. we all have good experiences and we all have bad. It happens, it's called life. And it's stressful.

So, in the next few months I plan on adding two to three more balls to my collection. And I want some personal experiences with breeders and at the same time some suggestions. I don't plan on dropping $10,000 on a snake. If I had that it would have gone to my culinary education.

Well, here is my experience and who I want some info about before I buy. (If I'm in the wrong section or someone has a good website with feedback feel free to move the thread or give me a link.)

I have two breeders I really want to buy from.
    1. Bailey and Bailey
    2. Boas and Balls.

Now my personal experience with each.

    1. I contacted them twice. First about buying a snake and how to pay and the health. I got a very good reply nice.mannered and friendly, my kind of service. The second was about them being at a show, which lasted 3 replies. Again, very nice service no hitches nothing. In my opinion one of the best sellers to get in contact with and many beautiful balls. Just a bit pricey. Lol.
    2. I actually contacted them only once but got a very good reply, I asked them if they were going to be at the Tinley show in 2012 and thy said it was still up in the air in a well mannered reply.

I've heard great things about both, done my research, but now I want personal replies from he community. If you have bought from either can you share your stories? Good and bad alike, which I hope non are bad, but the truth is it fan happen to anyone, from anywhere. And also, even if you haven't had any personal experiences with these two I'd love to hear of other breeders who strive for perfection with there sales.

Oh... if anyone Is curious I plan on trying to get a spider and a albino. I also have my eyes set on mojaves. That's just in case anyone was curious.

Thank you to anyone who replies and shares here experiences! Like I said... please don't start any fights. I said nothing but good words about both of these choices.

I'll just speak for Bailey and Bailey. I haven't had the pleasure of actually doing business with him, because my collection must, of necessity, remain very small. However, I do consider Tim Bailey a friend, and I've been out to his place and seen how his animals are kept. You'd be hard pressed to find someone more diligent and downright OCD about keeping the animals clean and pristine. He's also an all-around great guy, and his wife is terrific. From all I've seen, they treat everyone the same, whether you're spending $100, $1000, or $10,000. They care about the animals and their customers more than the dollars. And if their animals cost a little more than average, I personally, would find that well worth it.

Justin Kobylka is another breeder of the same caliber with the same kind of respect for his animals and customers. You can't go wrong with either of these two gentlemen.

Thanks for your input. I saw you replied and said in my head "Jlc...what did I do wrong..." lol.

I'll be honest as well, I agree, paying a little extra for better service and a healthier animal is one of my must. I personally said that just to are what I would get in replies. To me personally i feel like there prices are Well suited to the animals you buy.

I had a very good talk with him though. All I wanted was a spider or even a pastel and I got service like I was inquiring about a banana. I've also always wanted to say "this beauty is a Bailey baby" I'll also look up your other suggestion here shortly. Thanks again.

Re: personal experiences with a few breeders?

I bought a male normal ball python from Bailey and Bailey a few years ago. The transaction went great and Tim was in contact with me even after I had gotten the snake. I had emailed him several times with questions about the snake and he never once hesitated to return my emails or answer my questions. So IMO, you can't go wrong with Bailey and Bailey.

Till I get to know anyone who has authority I fear them. you seem nice and I'm also still kinda new here as a member. The reason why to that, is while on IRC a few years ago I got into a dispute with one of the main admins. All Because I said new age Metallica has nothing on the old age with Cliff. Needless to say it was like a month long dispute were other admins got my ban lifted and afterwards it went over smoothly. But it was just a bad experience.

And I will say, I'm sold on getting me a snake from Bailey and Bailey now.
