    Traveling

In a couple days I'll be going down to Jersey for thanksgiving with my fiance's parents and we've been trying to figure out what to do with our BP. Fiance wants to bring him with (his dad is a reptile enthusiast, so they have a tank we could use and everything) but I think it would be unnecessarily stressful on him and I don't want him to stop eating for three weeks like he did when we first brought him home. He won't need to be fed while we're gone, and our roommate has agreed to check on him every day, turn his light on and off, change his water, etc. Thoughts?

Seems like you already have the answer figured out. I would leave him be. How many days are you leaving for?

    Re: Traveling

Feed him and clean out his cage, then let him be while your gone.

A bp will enjoy a few days without disruption, whereas moving them around is very stressful.

    Re: Traveling

I agree with the others - leave him home, especially since you have someone who will check n on him while you are away.

Go and enjoy your family for Thanksgiving = your bp will be happily hiding the whole time you are gone.

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Thanks everyone...that's what I thought We did decide to leave him home. It's funny, i was the one who wanted a snake in the first place, but my fiance has gotten so attached to him :]
