So for the past few months the heat has been 78F on the hot side because i'm using a 75 watt flat infra red spotlight, and i've been unemployed for the last four months so I was unable to purchase a 100 watt flat black spotlight. A few days ago is when I made a small adjustment to my setup. All I did was put three pennies under each corner on the hot side (the side with the UTH) so that the tank is not resting on the cord. Well I just checked the temps last night and they went up from 78F to 89F and I am very happy with this. Only have one thermometer on the hot side for now but if I had to guess ambient air temperature is 85F and the cool side is about 78-80F. Humidity remains at 65% even though the substrate is now dry. Gonna soak it like I usually do later today when I get home from work but that doesn't seem to affect the humidity very much. Yes I know it is working right. She still seems to prefer the cool side but after the second time moving her to the hot side she seems to have found it to be more comfortable (she just ate last night so is digesting currently.) I guess that's all.
