Me and the bf went to the Phoenix Reptile Expo today and had a blastIt was our first expo and even though we thought it would be larger there was a really nice variety of animals to be seen.
Tons of pics!!
Almost took this girl home:
This snake was ridiculous in person:
I love anything T+:
If I had $350 extra dollars more than what I brought I would have snatched this guy up:
I striked out on any bloods and bulls, but I did find some great pickups and my bf got what he wanted too
My pickups:
"Gambit": cute minimal dalmation spot Crested Gecko proven male, 34 grams. My main goal was to find a Crestie and though I thought there would be a lot more I am very happy to come home with this guy. All I wanted was something spotty, frog butt, and male.
"DiOra": Gorgeous Sharp strain Albino female BCI that I almost missed out on (we almost skipped the table). There was another Sharp albino girl and a Kahl but IMO this girl was the most stunning. She's 132 grams.
"Vera": Snow cornsnake female, 2010 hatch. She has a ton of gorgeous yellows along her cheeks and upper body and I was happy I found a snow that was already on fuzzies so I wouldn't have to buy a whole bag of pinkies. 33 grams.
last but not least, "Telly": very cute little Pastel female. Best pastel girl that I found at the show: she has such gorgeous colors that unfortunatly I couldn't pick up through her plastic container. When everyone's settled I'll be getting new pics. She is 162 grams.
The BF's pickups:
Awesome lesser male produced by the same guy who I got little Telly from. He was a steal IMO and his colors are stunning. If I was in the market for a little lesser boy (I want a girl) I would have snatched him in a heartbeat too! He's a tiny 85 grams.
Cute and very steely colored Dumeril's Ground Boa male. Very calm and sweet. 130 grams.
We're already looking forward to next year's expo![]()
