    Growth rate and age

I have a couple of questions I haven't found answers to. The first is about growth rate. I have owned my Red, Bambi, for a month or a little more. What growth rate have you all experienced. Bambi seems to look as though she grows every day noticabley. When I got her/him she was a little over 16" and likely closer to 18". She is at least 20" now even though she is a picky eater.

The second question is about age/growth. At what age do they stop growing and can be recognized as an adult?

Thanks once again for your help!

Had to check the other thread to see what animal you were talking about, guessing its the BW tegu you spoke of. Well aside from genetics which plays a big part on the growth of any animal, Husbandry plays a big role aswell. Temps, Food, Cage size (exersize)...etc. Ive had a BW tegu grow aprox 2.5inch a month on inverterbrates and fruit diets with very little fuzzies everyonce in a while. Then once he started on mice consistantly he started putting almost 4 inchs or more per month. The two ive had seem to hit their growth spurt at the six month mark, they start putting on size like weeds, HEAT em and FEED em...
