    Growth rate and age

I have a couple of questions I haven't found answers to. The first is about growth rate. I have owned my Red, Bambi, for a month or a little more. What growth rate have you all experienced. Bambi seems to look as though she grows every day noticabley. When I got her/him she was a little over 16" and likely closer to 18". She is at least 20" now even though she is a picky eater.

The second question is about age/growth. At what age do they stop growing and can be recognized as an adult?

Thanks once again for your help!

its no set rule on how your tegu will grow, it all depends on how its being fed and cared for. Just provide proper care and diet and watch as bambi grows in to a big strong adult. 3yrs is when they are said to be full grown and sexually mature. Although some do reach adult size in about 2yrs (ones who do not hibernate the first yr).
Why? Why do humans always look to the sky? Why do you try so hard to fly when you don't have any wings? We'll run on our own legs. - Kiba "Wolf's rain"
