    My first nice rat rack!

I'm so excited to have a nice rat rack! Blake, my fiance, helped me to build it. It's pretty nice! He's finally starting to get more involved with the snake stuff! I will hopefully get more watering system stuff ordered soon.

i have a question about the wood "hinged stops" is this really necessary? i don't have on my racks (i bought them used that way) and Ive never thought a rat could open a tub. is this just an extra precaution or is this a common occurrence? Rats escaping that is..

i guess my rats like it in their tubs then lol. only rats ive chased were either ones that got away from my hands or ones that chewed through lids when i used fish tanks instead of my rack. i had a few asfs escape a while back from the tanks. otherwise thats it

The tubs aren't really tight so the rats could push the tubs open. Or at least I think they could, I really don't want to find out. I had a couple rats get lose on me while we were gone for a few days and they got in my washing machine and chewed every plastic tube in the dang thing. I'm working on making the rat room escape proof and I'm starting with the tubs!

Thank you! It's so nice to have him involved. He has even started "investing" as he calls it, lol. He owns the mojave female and the black pastel female in my collection. He pretty much asks me what would be a good addition and finds a great example of that particular morph!
