    Paradox Ivory Super Stripes??

I have been watching the Specter gene and the YB gene for a while now. I have noticed some weird things going on that makes me question what is happening with these genes. It looks like there is more going on than just two Alleles lining up. Here are a few examples of what I am referring to.

Here is a Weird Ivory, with a lot of pattern, that I picked up from a SS X Ivory breeding. I was told there was a normal in the group (more than likely an ugly Specter). Either way, this guy has a lot of pattern and color for an Ivory.

This is a weird Paradox Pastel Ivory. It appears to show pattern of a Super Stripe instead of Yellow Belly (produced by Albey Scholl). This was produced from a Super Stripe X Pastel Yellow Belly.

Here is the latest picture that has really got me scratching my head. This is a baby that was produced by Jay Miller. It was from a Super Stripe X Yellow Belly. The head tells me Super Stripe, but the body looks Ivory.

I would have thought a Paradox Super Stripe would have the look of a Super Stripe and either Yellow Belly or Specter.... Not of an Ivory. I have my own thoughts on this, but I am curios to see what you all think. Thank you Albey and Jay for letting me use your photos.

    Re: Paradox Ivory Super Stripes??

It makes sense with the theory on how paradox's are made, which is twins inside an egg merge into one, making a chimera. One snake in the egg was ivory, one was superstripe. Now if they are more prone to it happening? possibly, I've never seen any of those pictures, thats awesome stuff.

The first picture to me is the interesting one and I would assume breeding is the only thing that can tell whats going on there. Looks pumaish to me. Maybe there is another gene that isn't on the yellow belly locus that still reacts with it?

That one made by Albey is fricking gorgeous. Love it.

This confuses me ... Aren't SS and ivory both homozygous on that locus (or rather, ivory = homozygous YB; SS = YB/Specter)? So, they should produce only super stripes and ivories -- 50/50 -- when bred together, correct?

Where would either a normal or a specter come from?

... I'll have to give some thought to the rest of the post, but that bit just jumped out at me.

    Mistake

Sorry I was running on a low amount of sleep when I posted this.... the first Ivory is from a SS x Yellow Belly NOT an Ivory. Sorry about that,
