There is a reptile show coming up in a little over a week here so if I could get my hands on a cool Kenyan Sand Boa morph I may just do it. I THINK mine is female because she is so big. I know I had threads from a while ago trying to figure it out, but I think it is a girl. She's gotten pretty beefy.
1) Have mine in a 30 gallon tank. If I get another KSB can I keep them together? Obviously I'm hoping they'll breed, but would they be okay together on a permanent basis?
2) If I am wrong about the gender of my KSB and wind up putting 2 females or 2 males together is there a possibility of them being aggressive towards each other? Obviously it would be benefitial to find an expert or vet around here that could probe her for me to be sure, but so many vets around here don't like messing with snakes. (Funny we have horses and can find a ton of vets that will mess with 1000 lb + horses but won't touch a little snake.) I'm assuming at the show I will see males and females side by side and it will be really obvious what Vicious is.
3) I have been to that site with the sand boa morphs, but I have a specific question and haven't studied enough of the genetics to understand what I'm doing. I have just a normal KSB. I realize nothing is certain in genetics, but can anybody give me some possible outcomes by breeding my normal?
Normal x Albino = ????
Normal x Anery = ???
Normal x Rufescen = ???
And then to get something really cool it's okay to breed back babies to parents or siblings without anything crazy happening, right??
Thanks guys!! ^_^
