Need to clear something up about QT...

This is just an in general question about quarantine...

ATM all the reptiles(expect one, but she's in my older sis's room) are in my room.
One gecko in there I plan to move back to the kitchen since she's not mine, I'm just keeping in there for now.(She's my younger sis's)

But I plan on getting more reptiles soon and never knew about QT when I got into reptiles, so I never did. Luckily, all my reptiles are healthy.
But once I get more reptiles, if I QTned them in the living room, would I be completely unable to take them into the living room?
The other room I was thinking of QTing reptiles in is probably too cold for them...
So should I keep them in completely separate rooms?(I'm not planning on getting more snakes soon, I'm actually going to get more geckos if that helps)
    Herps:

    0.1 gargoyle gecko(Rory/Freckles)

I would recommend putting them in separate rooms if possible, the farther away from each other the better.

My QT animals are in my living room as well, as my established collection is in one of my two bedrooms. I don't take my established animals into the living room or the QT animals into the bedroom. Might be overkill, but I think it's safest - especially since one of my QT animals has a mild RI.

If you have another bedroom that would work even better (closed door to try to separate the air in the QT room from your established collection room - though that's next to impossible I think but could be a good idea to keep the QT room closed off) you could look into a little space heater to warm it if it's too cold. I personally warm the whole house to ~80 for the snakes in the living room and bedroom.

This is just what I do in regards to my snakes, I don't have any geckos ATM.

Alright, thanks. :3 I don't have another bedroom to put them in and I often take my reptiles into the living room...
I may be able to use a space heater down there. ((NVM, mom says she doesn't like those)
I'd be fine if the house was heated to that, but no one else likes it that warm.
My big sis also wants a new beardie, so we need a QT spot..

The only reason the front room is so warm is because one whole wall is pretty much a giant window, so it lets a lot of cold air in.

Ahh, mom just suggested the laundry room! I could put them in there. Our house is kinda small(actually it's average size) but it's a little difficult to find empty rooms. :3
Think I got it set though!
(The BP in your icon is very pretty! I can't wait for my female to get that big... I wonder if she'll lose her high contrast goldish yellow on brown colour...)

^ Well there you go, the laundry room should be fine. You could always put a little thermometer in there to see what the temps range from - I've found that closests and smaller rooms are a little cooler than average (but not so much that they're too cold for snakes)

And thank you - she's a nice big girl and has a lot more weight to pack on since she was bred by her previous owner (she's up to 2200 grams now). It's hard to say about their colors: I would do a "before and after" photo of your girl: have one now that shows her golden colors then when she's a big fatty go back and see if she's lost the tones. I like to compare color changes over time

I got lots of pics of my girl now. ^^ I can't wait until she's a big fatty, but my mom doesn't fancy the thought of her getting that big. XD

Yeah, the temp in the laundry room should be fine... Crested Geckos do best at room temps from like 65-82(no higher than 85). So they should be fine there.
